Mission
The mission of IQRA
College is “to imbue
children in our care with faith, knowledge, skill, vision,
creativity and determination to continually impact positively
their world”.
Objectives
IQRA College pursues the following
objectives to facilitate the attainment of its mission.
- Conversational Arabic programme
which is supplementary to the teaching of Arabic as contained
in the national curriculum. Its objectives are to make the
students proficient in spoken Arabic as distinct from being
able to read\write it.
- Conversational French programme
deigned to make students
acquire working knowledge of the French language.
- Leadership training- students are
taken through activities that will bring out and reinforce
the leadership qualities in them. And because there are
numerous projects going on in the College as co-curricular
activities every student has an opportunity to lead in one
more of them.
- Morality is emphasized in all activities
to enable students build integrity from tender ages.
- World View – students are
taught to cultivate a world view that reflects a deep sense
of history and a strong desire to make the world conform
to the divine order.
- Human Relations- students are taught
to radiate love towards all, nurture the universal brotherhood
of mankind and propagate ideal and values through personal
example.
