Highlight of IQRA College
Policies
- Only qualified and competent teachers
are engaged by the College. A first degree or its equivalent
is the minimum acceptable teaching qualification.
- Every student must posses the prescribed
learning materials.
- Fifty percent (50%) is the minimum pass
mark in each subject and a minimum average mark of fifty
percent (50%) is required for a student to earn promotion
form one class to another.
- A student has only one opportunity to
repeat a class. Failure to pass a promotion examination
a second time automatically leads to termination of studentship.
- Persistent deviant behaviour leads to
expulsion from the College.
- All Muslims students are obliged to
participate in compulsory Islamic rituals such as Solat
and fasting unless they are officially excused on medical
grounds.
- A student is obliged to initiate and
complete a personal project before graduating form the junior
secondary school and another one before graduating from
the senior secondary school.
- Every student is obliged to participate
in extra and co-curricular activities organized by the College
or which the College has officially accepted to partake
in.
- All prescribed termly fees must be paid
before resumption for each term by boarding students and
within two weeks of resumption by day students. A students
will not be allowed in the hostel or classroom after the
expiration of he relevant deadline for payment of fees.
- All fees are payable into the College.
Cash payments are discountenanced and students or their
parents are liable to pay into the college bank account
or through draft any cash payment that might have been made.
